Lily's a planner. She's always coming up with new ideas, and she's actually the reason we do a lot of what we do. The movies? Lily's idea. Sleep-over at Grandma's house? Lily's idea. Aunt Lacey's birthday celebration? Lily, again. She also comes up with a lot of ideas that we don't, or can't do, but I love the way her mind works.
She gets very detailed in her plans, like: she wants to get a bucket, either at Mama's house or at our house, and collect worms in it, so that we can go fishing, and get lots of fish and put them in a bag, and then eat some fish for dinner, and then eat more fish for dinner another night, and then when all the fish are all gone, then we can go fishing again. Then she said (with her head tipped), "So... can we do that?" I said, "Um, yeah, I think so." Next thing I know, she's off looking for a bucket.
Other plans of Lily's include:
- hot-air ballooning (when the mailman brought a package from Amazon today, she thought it might be a hot-air balloon, 'cause she'd just mentioned again this morning how much she wants to do that someday. So what else could it be, but a hot-air balloon, in that little brown box?)
- going to the beach
- going to Aunt Patti's house
- going to Papa's race
- going to Chuck E. Cheese
- going to the dentist
- camping in the back yard and roasting marshmallows
She's always thinking. Her mind is always going, going, going. It's pretty cool, actually. She keeps us on our toes. :)
